Pelin Esmer

She was born and grew up in Istanbul. She graduated from Bogazici University Department of Sociology. After she majored in sociology in Istanbul, she attended the cinema workshop of the Turkish director Yavuz Ozkan. She worked as a first assistant director in a number of Turkish and foreign projects. Her first documentary film, "The Collector" (2002) was screened in many festivals. Her first feature documentary "Oyun" ("The Play") was premiered in San Sebastian Film Festival in 2005. It has been screened over 50 festivals around the world and received many awards including In Memoriam Yilmaz Guney Award in Adana Golden Boll Film Festival and "The Best New Documentary Filmmaker Award" in Tribeca Film Festival. Esmer's first feature "10 to 11" was one of the six chosen projects by Cannes Film Festival's Résidence du Cinéfondation in Paris, where she worked on her script in 2007. An official selection of the San Sebastian Film Festival, "10 to 11" received many national and international awards. The directors of world's leading film festivals selected her as one of the world's most promising directors in the "Take 100: The Future of Film: 100 New Directors" She is currently working on her new project "Watchtower".

Tolga Esmer

He was born in Istanbul. He graduated from Saint Joseph French High School in Istanbul and majored in civil engineering in Bosphorus University, although he never practiced it. He received his Master in International Economics and Management degree from Universita Bocconi, Milan, Italy. Worked in Italy and Turkey as a management consultant, specializing in strategy, general management, operation and management systems and marketing for the past twenty years. He has been teaching for more than ten years about topics related to the management of organizations. After his first experience with cinema (Oyun/The Play by Pelin Esmer, 2005) where he acted as executive producer, he decided to produce films. He produced Pelin Esmer's award winning "10 to 11". He taught film production in Istanbul Bilgi University.

Nida Karabol Akdeniz

She was born in Istanbul in 1967. Further to studying at Istanbul Italian High School, she graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Sociology. She began her producer career with "Istanbul Beneath My Wings" in 1995 and also produced "Offside" in 2000. She produced Pelin Esmer’s award winning documentary "Oyun/The Play" and "10 to 11". She has worked at the board of directors of Turkish Producers Association (SESAM) from 1996 to 2007. She was the Chairman of Movie Producers Professional Association (SE-YAP) between 2007 and 2011. She is a partner and managing director of Umut Sanat Company ((film production and distribution company).
